Sky Reel

Brief:
This reel highlights my design work at Sky Creative, covering a diverse range of projects, from promoting upcoming TV series and creating countdowns for the Premier League’s return, to maintaining and refining graphic templates used across multiple Sky channels. The goal was to showcase the range of Sky’s creative output while demonstrating many styles, formats, and genres.

Concept:
Each project presented a unique visual challenge, requiring a balance between brand consistency and creative expression. The approach was to tailor the visual style and motion design to the tone of each show or campaign, ensuring every asset communicated the right energy and emotion while remaining recognisably Sky.
Execution:
Day of The Jackal
I created bespoke graphics for Day of The Jackal, one of my favourite projects to date. It was exciting to contribute to such a high-profile show and help bring its identity to life through design. Using the provided assets, we reflected the show’s key themes of tension and precision, ensuring the visuals aligned closely with its tone and storytelling.

Monkey Man & A Quiet Place: Day One
For these campaigns, I worked on the promotional graphics and also had the opportunity to edit the promo footage — a rewarding challenge that pushed me outside my comfort zone. This experience helped strengthen my understanding of pacing, rhythm, and how motion and sound work together to enhance storytelling.

The Iris Affair
For The Iris Affair, we took a different creative direction, emphasising the lines dividing the key art to create a more dynamic and structured composition. We enhanced the piece further by animating elements like the boat and helicopter, adding depth, motion, and excitement to the overall design.
