Ambrigram

Brief:
This project was inspired by The Whole Earth Catalog, a counterculture magazine known for its essays and articles on practical knowledge and creative thinking. The brief was to recreate the catalogue using a mix of collaborative and self-directed content, while also designing an individual page on a chosen topic.

Concept & Approach:
I decided to base my project on the theme of illusions and perspectives, exploring how visual perception can shift depending on context and form. Each zine spread was designed to inform and engage the reader through a mix of illustrations, visual tricks, and perspective-based compositions, blending education with creativity.

Execution:
I created a series of informative zine spreads, each one highlighting a unique illusion or visual phenomenon. The designs combined playful layout choices with hand-drawn and digital illustration styles to enhance the optical themes. One spread in particular guided readers through the ‘Ultimate Optical Illusion’, immersing them in the fascinating world of visual perception.
